Sport shooters not welcome on Summer Games stage

The Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters is some upset. Two award winning teenaged sports shooters have been told that they are no longer welcome as sporting rifle ambassadors at the Ontario Summer Games and told they must not appear on stage at the World Record Camp Games due to the, "untimely shootings that have taken place in Scarborough and the City recently".

Car with 70+ MPG manufactured in the US, but not sold in North America

Watch this video on an experience driving a VW getting an incredible 70+ miles per gallon, but only in other countries. Apparently, the engine's emissions are too high (when measured by the gallon but not by the mile) for North America. Hmmm . . .

Do Vegetarians Have Smaller Brains?

Interesting study mentioned at Agwired.com that found those on a meat-free diet six times more likely to suffer brain shrinkage. It also confirms other findings which shows that overall human brain sizes have reduced by an average 11 percent since we adopted an agricultural diet based on cereal grains rather than the meat-based diet of our Palaeolithic ancestors.
